🟢 Team Leaders - Action Required

Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh, Jazākumullāhu khayran for taking on the responsibility of leading your teams during this World Cup Dawah Campaign. This is a great amānah, and your preparation is key to a safe, organised, and impactful day of dawah. Please take 2–5 minutes to carefully read and complete the Team Leader Checklist before your next dawah activity: 👉 https://worldcupdawah.com/team-leader-checklist This checklist covers the essential responsibilities before, during, and after the event to help ensure every team is prepared and represents Islam with excellence. May Allah ﷻ accept your efforts, protect you and your team, and make you a means of guiding others to Islam. Āmīn.

2 Days Until #WorldCupDawah

⚽️ In just 2 days, brothers and sisters across 80+ countries will come together with one purpose - to share the message of Islam. But before the first conversation takes place... Before the first leaflet is handed out... The dawah begins online. This year, we don't just want to reach the people who walk past our stalls - we want to reach the world. 📲 Your phone is a dawah tool. Here's how you can use it today: • Share the countdown and let people know #WorldCupDawah is coming. • Tell your followers why you are joining this global effort. • Invite your family, friends, and community to follow the journey. • Repost and amplify the message across your platforms. One post may seem small. But one post can reach hundreds. Hundreds become thousands. And thousands become opportunities for someone to discover Islam. On the day itself, let the world witness this incredible effort. Share your photos, videos, reflections, and behind-the-scenes moments using #WorldCupDawah. (Please remember to seek permission before posting identifiable photos or videos of members of the public.) Together, let's make #WorldCupDawah visible - online and on the streets. May Allah ﷻ place barakah in every conversation, every smile, every post, every share, and every heart that is guided through this effort. Āmīn. 🌍 2 Days to Go 80+ Countries. One Mission. One Ummah. One Hashtag. #WorldCupDawah

A Reminder to Every Dawah Volunteer and Team Leader

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh. My dear brothers and sisters, remember that participating in Global Dawah Day is not just an event - it is an amānah (trust) from Allah. Every word we speak, every smile we give, and every action we take represents Islam. Our character should often speak louder than our words. Our goal is not to win debates or prove people wrong. We are here to convey the beautiful message of Islam with wisdom, mercy and respect. If someone becomes angry, abusive or tries to provoke us, we respond with dignity by politely ending the conversation and walking away. There is never any justification for verbal or physical confrontation. Always remember that you may be recorded at any moment. Speak and behave in a way that you would be pleased for Allah, the people, and your family to witness. Avoid engaging with anyone who appears intoxicated, aggressive or unstable. Never work alone. Stay with your partner or team, know who your Team Leader is, know the agreed meeting point, and don't hesitate to seek assistance whenever needed. Team Leaders are there to serve and protect the team, so follow their guidance throughout the day. If you need to pray, do so in an appropriate place, in smaller groups where necessary, without obstructing public spaces, and ensure someone remains aware of the surroundings. If any incident occurs, no matter how minor- report it immediately to your Team Leader. Do not discuss or respond to incidents on social media. Any media enquiries should be referred to iERA. If someone targets you, persistently films you in an aggressive manner, threatens you or makes you feel unsafe, prioritise your safety. Inform your Team Leader immediately and contact the police if necessary, clearly explaining that you are being harassed, feel intimidated, and are concerned the situation may escalate. Above all, if an incident occurs: - Prioritise the safety of yourself and your team. - Contact the emergency services immediately if there is any danger. - Where it is safe to do so, record the incident with photos or videos. - Record the basic details, including the time, location and any available evidence. - Report the incident to iERA through the agreed reporting process as soon as possible. May Allah ﷻ accept your efforts, protect you, grant you wisdom, patience and sincerity, and make you a means for others to be guided to Islam. Āmīn.
